PT LAP was established
within the framework of the Foreign Capital Investment
Law No. 1 Year 1967 as amended by Law No. 11 Year 1970
based on the President's approval letter No. B-635/Pres/H/1995
dated November 20, 1995 and deed No. 136 dated January
21,1996 of Siti Pertiwi Henry Singgih, SH, notary public
in Jakarta. The deed of establishment was approved by
the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia in
his decision letter No. C2-6820.HT.01.01.TH 96 dated March
6, 1996, and was published in State Gazette No. 6 dated
January 1997, supplement No. 285. The article of association
have been amended several times, most recently by deed
No. 2 dated July 27, 1999 of Noor Kholis Adam, SH, notary
public in Jakarta, concerning the increase in the Company's
authorised, subscribed and paid up capital. This change
was approved by the Ministry of Law and Legislation of
the Republic of indonesai in his decision letter No. C21189.HT.01.04.TH.2000
dated September 22, 2000.
In accordance with article 3 of the Company's articles of association, the company is engaged in the breeding of day old chick and selling of broiler chicken for local markets.
The company is domiciled in Jakarta and its plants
are located in Subang, West Java and Deli Serdang, North
Sumatera. The company's head office is located at Golden
Plaza, Block G No. 20 - 22, South Jakarta.
The company has direct ownership interest of 99% in PT Inti Hupindo. The subsidiary is domiciled in Jakarta and started operations in June 1997. Its activity is mainly to engage as an agent of the company's products.
PT LAP is currently one of the biggest producer of
day old chicks and broiler chicken in West Java and
has achieved 5% market share of broiler chicken in West
Java. It now has
a) 5 broiler farm with capacity range between 60,000
broilers to 250,000 broilers in Jakarta and 7 broiler
farms with capacity range between 50,000 broilers to
100,000 broilers located in Medan.
b) 5 breeder farms which can produce 40 million day
old chick per year in Jakarta and 1 breeder farm which
can produce 9 million day old chick per year in Medan
c) More than 100 contract farmers located in West Java,
whereby the contract farming system is similar to the
system adopted in Malaysia.
